Jesus’ Easter

Jesus was a man of love, sensitivity, and compassion. He was a healer. Jesus healed the weary, the poor, and disadvantaged. He said the meek will inherit the Earth. Jesus allowed himself to die on the cross to make a statement. The statement came from a profoundly deep understanding; People who love do not fight. They accept. They accept whatsoever is happening, which includes death. They make no exceptions. That was the mastery, and magnificence of Jesus. On his way to crucifixion, he taught the world to love no matter what; that it is a mistake to fight, that fighting is never loving. It is this insight and wisdom that I celebrate today. dwp

The Belief in Belief

I reached a conclusion today, which is unusual for me since I normally don’t put a whole lot of stock in them, but I have come to the realization that there literally isn’t anything more powerful than what a person believes, which is why when we see people thinking or behaving in ways that look so incredibly unexplainable, it feels so impossible to figure out. Belief doesn’t do anything other than convince you that it’s believable, which is what it’s supposed to do. That’s the object of belief. And it is also the power of belief. Belief is not truth. Belief is whatever a person thinks is true; which is why the less you believe, the closer you probably are to what is actually true. dwp

A Beautiful You

Life has an unbelievable amount of things to be learned; the possibilities are so unlimited that you can even learn things that you don’t want to learn. I can remember when I became interested in learning; it was not because I wanted to be smart, it was because I was curious. Everything looked so curious to me that I began yearning to know what it was all about. I wanted to understand the ins & outs, and formal education wasn’t doing the trick for me. In fact, it added to the confusion by telling so many untruths and lies. The thing that makes life remarkable is that it is so incredibly limitless; and everything and everybody that’s here is perfectly ok. Nobody has to go anywhere, or change, or be any different. The lesson to be learned in this world is that we are able, and we are going to co-exist. Co-existence does not mean happiness, it is a collective togetherness. We have been together for many centuries, even millennia, and we will continue to be together because in ways unknown to us, we love each other. We are survivors. We are warriors. And we are proving it to ourselves everyday. We are not a path to defeat or destruction, but towards learning and evolving. We are preparing for a generation of excitement and brillance, that will surely supersede the stupidity of the world as we have known it previously. And it is a very beautiful thing; learning is always a very beautiful thing…it is beautiful because it gives birth to a brand new you. dwp

A Comforting Voice

A very dear and beloved friend expressed to me today that she experienced me as a comforting voice; an understanding, sensitive, and polite voice. Upon reading her beautiful, heart warming communication, something occurred to me. I realized that what she was feeling was more a result of us, than it was of me. Because if it were me, every person would have the same experience as she. The way we experience people is not about anybody, it is about what happens in between two bodies; it is in what they create together. The comforting voice in me was speaking, and communing with the comforting voice in her. We were meeting. It wasn’t her and it also wasn’t me. The reason why we share such beautiful experiences of love is because we mutually give ourselves to love; When we give ourselves to love, love gives itself to us. It is that kind of thing. It was because we were receptive to love and trusted love, that love connected us, cherished us & trusted us. It trusted the beauty that we exhibited together. That’s love. It is not a “me” thing; Love is a “we” thing. dwp
